Wavemaker.

Handcrafted playlists at scale.

Not a Wrapped. A record. Years of documented listening, read by a person, turned into the thing that tells you who you actually are, and the playlists built from it.

Payden, the person who reads your library
Read by hand by Payden, not a machine. Every report, twice.
1 Idea

What is wavemaking?

Every member becomes a wavemaker, that's the point.
Applied superstructure + intentful ear, a constant evolution of the creative mechanics behind it that creates a wave.
2 Origin

I started this to look at my own Spotify. That's it.

March 2026. No business plan. Just curiosity about my own data, a younger period of my life, how certain music carried me through different points and where I'm going today.

The 'by P' came first. The business part is new.

It turned into a craft: a way of reading a library by hand and building something real out of it, the DNA report, the playlists, the wedding sets. That's still exactly what it is. One person on the other end, actually paying attention.

3 Why

Your music is a part of you. You can't always show it.

Taste is how you signal who you are. This makes yours readable: a wedding, a milestone trip, a year that meant something. You get to keep it forever, only if someone builds the thing while the moment is still here.

The big platforms hand everyone the same one-size algorithm. When's the last time someone gave you a good playlist, or you had the time to make one?

Track count or experience isn't important: we only consider what matters to you.

SeenYour library, finally read: unraveled by a real person who does this for a living, not scored by a machine.
HeardBy a person, not an algorithm. The patterns underneath the plays, lined up against your actual life.
YoursOne stamped copy. Keep adding to it, compare against it, watch it grow, a scrapbook of a year that sounded like something.
4 How

The read.

You think you know your music, but it's cluttered: shared accounts, road trips, someone else's phone. We clean it up so it looks like you, then build cool stuff out of it: the DNA report, Playlist by P sets, your wedding playlist. One part is automated, the filters that separate your real library from the noise. The rest is me, working with you.

Filter A · Signal

We strip the noise first

The shared logins, the road-trip skips, the songs that were never really yours. What's left is the real you.

Filter B · Context

Not how many plays, but when and why

We line the music up against your life and read it together. Wrapped hands you a poster; this is a working relationship with your own taste.

5 Essay

Every artist you keep is a decision.

The Spine isn't your favorite songs. It's the twenty artists you actually return to. That list is not random. It's a portrait, with one idea running through all of it. My job is to name that idea.

Whoever you keep, the spine holds them.

Good to know

Quick Info on PBP.

Isn't this just Wrapped?
No. Wrapped shows you what happened; this tells you what it means. The sketch and the sample cuts are handmade sets. The report is a person reading your library, decade by decade, the patterns underneath, and a playlist arc built from what the read reveals, not the other way around.
How long does my report take?
I have measures in place to keep a quick turnaround on most builds. If there is ever a communication breakdown, reach out below and I will do everything in my power to make it right.
Can I buy it as a gift?
Yes, and it's the best version of this. Purchase any tier, then send the recipient's name and email in the notes. I'll coordinate delivery directly with them, they get a stamped read of their own library. See what a finished one looks like in the gallery.
What platforms do you work with?
I work with and can convert most files across platforms: Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, and more, whether through a shared profile or another method. Spotify is the easiest, but I'll get you what you want either way.
Does the playlist sound the same on every platform?
Cross-platform copies are mirrored carefully, but platforms don't share identical catalogs, so occasionally a track has no match and I substitute or flag it. The Spotify build is the master; the CSV is the receipt. Product links stay private.
How do I send my music over?
Any way that's easy: a shared link, a CSV, a Word doc, screenshots, a shared profile, or a quick voicemail. I take it from there.
